Like generations of my family before me, I was born and raised in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia in an area known as Frogtown. Inspired from an early age by the likes of Merle Haggard and George Jones, as well as my musician grandfather Hardie Lloyd, I love singing and playing working-class music for working-class people.
